Wonder Game Whitepaper TL;DR
The Wonder Game Whitepaper is pretty extensive and detailed. We highly recommend reading it and familiarizing yourself with all that we have planned. But if you’re short on time and just want a quick overview, then this is for you!!
The Wonder Game ecosystem will include all the Character NFTs, item NFTs, the economy driver SHROOM token, strategic exploration & player enhancement gameplay, item shop, and marketplace. As we grow, we will add more experiences and in-game features to make this adventure more interesting and fun for our members.
Chapter One will be deployed on the Harmony blockchain. In this chapter, there are 3 Character NFTs — Alice, Queen, and Card Soldiers in the Wonder Game World. The game will revolve around using unique strategies to accumulate SHROOMs.
Wonder Game World
Wonder Game World is the most powerful place in the game. It’s a mysterious place where you can stake your Character NFTs to earn SHROOM tokens. Different areas give you a different amount of SHROOMs, and there are even Surge Zones with maximum SHROOM gain.
Each character has their own way of getting the SHROOM. You will have to use your best strategy to earn the most SHROOMs — we recommend collaborating with a couple of your fellow community members.
Character NFT
There will be 3 characters that you can play as in Chapter One: Card Soldiers, Queen, and Alice. Card Soldiers explore and camp to find the magical power — aka Surge Zone. Queens tax the Card Soldiers from how many SHROOMs Soldiers have accumulated in their sector. Alices steal from the Card Soldiers when they are on the way pay their Shroom tax to the Queens.
Out of the total 20,000 NFTs — 75% will be Cards, 12.5% Queens, and 12.5% Alices.
10,000 NFTs will be available for the initial sale and will be minted with Harmony ONE tokens.
Card Soldiers will explore Wonder Game collaboratively to find SHROOMs. The goal is to find the magical power which makes the area fertile with SHROOMs and provides the highest yield. Card Soldiers can camp out in an Area of a Sector in order to collect SHROOMs.
Queens rule in a Sector and tax 30% to any Card Soldier that wants to claim what they have accumulated or wish to leave the Sector.
Alice can pick one of the Queens’ Sectors to attack. She can steal 30%-70% from the Card Soldiers when they are on the way to the Queen — the stolen amount depends on the average of the Queen and Alice’s stats in that Sector.
You will need to stake the Character NFT for a minimum of 2 days. Staking starts when you camp as a Card Soldier, rule as a Queen, and explore as an Alice. Camping in a new area or ruling a new Sector will not unstake the NFT unless you press the unstake button after the 2 days period.
Each character has stats that the players can upgrade. The characters will earn certain XP by doing various things in game to unlock Character Potential. Only when Character Potential is unlocked, players can use SHROOMs to upgrade their Character NFT’s stats.
Minting New Characters In-Game
Your Wonder Game characters, or rather Gen 0 characters will be able to mint more characters in-game. All you need to mint Character NFT in-game is one Character NFT, one HOOKAH, and the proper amount of SHROOMs required for the mint (See chart).
HOOKAH HRC-1155 tokens are used to mint new Character NFTs in game. There are only 10,000 HOOKAH tokens and they can only be found through exploration gameplay.
There are 3 Gens for Character NFTs and the main difference between the Gens is how much their mint will cost. Gen0 is the first 10,000 minted with ONE token, Gen1 is the next 5,000 and Gen2 is the last 5,000 giving a max of 20,000 Character NFTs.
Every mint from the same Character NFT increases the SHROOM price by 20% compared to the last price.
SHROOM
The SHROOM token is the main token and source of magical power in Wonder Game. SHROOMs allow you to enter, own, use, participate, and govern Wonder Game.
The SHROOM token has a max supply of 400,000,000 tokens. Chapter One has a max inflow of 65,700,000 SHROOM, and there will be daily issuance of approximately 45,000 SHROOM tokens for Card Character NFTs for just playing the exploration game and 135,000 SHROOM tokens per day for the surge zone reward pool.
Wonder Game economy allows members to earn in various ways. In Chapter One, you can earn through exploring the Wonder Game Forest and finding the best place to stake for SHROOM, enhancing your Character NFT stats to find more SHROOM, minting new Character NFTs at Cheshire Cat’s Portal, and selling it on the Duchess’s Marketplace, staking SHROOM in various ways, and staking the native token with the Wonder Game validator node on the respective blockchain.

DAO
The Wonder Game team puts the community at the center while making decisions during the initial development. The team believes that the foundation of an extraordinary DAO ecosystem starts from Day 0.5, way before the DAO is up and running.
We will have DAO from the very early stages and allow members to stake SHROOM to participate in the DAO. We want this so our members can participate and practice DAO from an early stage.
The team will drive the initial development through DAO and will constantly get community members involved in the growth and development from the beginning. Practicing this since Day 0.5 will allow Wonder Game to easily transition to a full DAO system when the ecosystem is ready for it. Our plan is also to allow members to vote on the type of DAO governance system they want to practice. We are doing this by creating an environment for meaningful shared experiences.
Initially, the Wonder Game team will manage the ecosystem fund to help grow the Wonder Game ecosystem by focusing on growing the Wonder Game community, funding for initiatives driven by the community, and transitioning toward DAO.
Holding SHROOM tokens will grant you voting rights in the community-owned Wonder Game DAO. Once the DAO is running autonomously, the community will decide where the Ecosystem Fund will go and how it will be used.
Team
The Wonder Game team has years of experience building DeFi applications. The development and leadership team has been in the ICON ecosystem since the early days and has built and is currently building core ICON applications, platforms, and infrastructures, including Harmony and ICON BTP projects. The team has also worked with the Harmony core team in the past couple of years.
We plan to work with the community to build the best community Play-to-Earn ecosystem from day one as we move toward a prosperous community-driven ecosystem.
